Les Is More

Les Miles once again silenced the critics, as LSU topped Alabama 24 to 21 yesterday. With that win The Tigers eliminated any title hopes The Tide had. With those title hopes went their chances of winning the SEC west. They have LSU and undefeated Auburn ahead of them.
LSU is now #5 in the BCS poll, and they need some help if they want to get any further. The star of this team is on the defensive side of the ball. Cornerback Patrick Peterson is, in my mind, the best cover corner in college football. His ability to lock down star receivers causes problems to opposing cornerbacks. He is also one of the most electrifying players in the country, because of his kick returning abilities.
But lets not forget the genius behind the whole thing. Mr. Les Miles. A man who's luck never seems to run out. A man who has been criticized for some questionable play calling and clock management. He is also the man who is the coach of the 8-1 LSU Tigers. These Tigers have a reasonable schedule down the stretch, which is capped off by a game against Arkansas. For right now, The Tigers are riding high off their big win.-Josh Neighbors
